General Service Questions

Where Are You Located?
Do You Have A Physical Location?

As a mobile pet sitting business which serves our two- and four legged clients in the comfort of their own home, we actually have no real need to operate and maintain a store front or brick & mortar facility like a boarding kennel, pet store or shop would have to do.

We utilize a home office as our Headquarters for the daily remote operations, staff meetings and  sometimes for a key drop off or key pick up by a client.
Our work is of solely mobile nature and when busy, we live pretty much in our cars 😉

Initial Consultations happen in clients homes as the location our care takes place and the chance for us to get accustomed with the pets in their own environment, see their feeding stations and routine and to get notes where to find food, toys, cleaning supplies and things alike.

So asking for our location would be better answered with us saying that we service the areas of
Killeen TX, Fort Hood TX, Harker Heights TX, Nolanville TX, Belton TX, Temple TX
and in the other direction
Copperas Cove TX and Kempner TX.

Our mobile nature of care for the comfort and contentment of the four-legged family member and the convenience for Mom and Dad.

Please Contact Us if you have further questions, we are always happy to help!

I Want To Board My Pet, Do Your Provide Boarding?

No, we don’t have a boarding facility and do not privately board in our homes.

See Why We Don’t:

Our approach of ‘In-Your-Home-Pet-Care’ actually is a true ALTERNATIVE to the overall well known and widely available pet boarding where you take your pet to a boarding kennel or a Veterinarian office to stay while you are away.

Pet sitting on the other hand allows for your pet to stay at home, in his/her own environment, where your pet feels comfortable in the mids of all the smells, favorite launch areas, sounds, going potty in their own yard and everything else he/she feels so good with.

So here the care is actually turned around: Instead of the pet going somewhere and having to adapt to a facilities routine, WE come visit your pet in his/her own home and match your and your pet’s routine as close as possible which results in happy and content pets.

The risk of picking up on a contagious disease like kennel cough with being surrounded by other pets is almost eliminated and especially for the very young kittens and puppies as well as the elderly pet ‘stay at home’ care is the safest and most comforting pet care you can gift to your beloved fur kid.

Now that we know how Ms Kitty and Fido benefit from staying home while Mom and Dad are out, let’s look at:

Who Doesn’t Like Convenience, Don’t You?

  • No need to pack all your pet(s) belongings to take all to a boarding kennel for comforting your pet.
  • Your pet is waiting for you right at home, no matter how early or late in the day it is or what day
of the week you return. Your home has no office hours!
  • Over are the days where you need to count the minutes to run home during lunch to let your dog
out for potty. Instead there can be a lunch date with a friend.
  • Pet care at any time with just picking up the phone or jumping online and request service 24/7.
  • Yay, I once again can SPONTANEOUSLY have an over-nighter or a mini weekend vacation even with
having fur kids~ no 6+ month in advance booking for pet care.

Jump Right On And Give It A Try

Since you are most likely reading this because you googled for a boarding kennel for your dog or kitty and found out now that there is an alternative and what the advantages are, why don’t you just give it a try with our professional pet sitters towards a happy pet and convenience for you?!

What Kind Of Animals Do You Care For?

We primarily care for dogs and cats, simply because Fidos and Ms Kitties are the most common furry family members to be found out there.

Of course, we also look after most small domestic animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles, fish and birds and even the “big guys” like horses and life stock.

What is important to us is, that your pet or animal is non-aggressive, non-dangerous to our pet sitters and you are providing us with your detailed routine and care information.

Do You Have An Age Restriction For Pets You Care For?

We do NOT have an age requirement to care for your pet.

We care for the youngest puppy and kitten to the elderly furry family member. With in-your-home care we do not need to require full sequences of shots as boarding facilities do, since your pet is not exposed to other pets and we can attend directly to your pet’s needs.

The age might determine if more visits per day are needed and specific times if a medical condition exists or more outside time for potty is needed for puppies and elderly dogs but this is what In-Home Pet Sitting is all about-
Customized and individualized care to your and your pet’s specific needs!

Do You Provide Services On Holidays?

Yes! We are open 365 days so also on all minor and major holidays so you can spend time with family and friends.

We do add a holiday surcharge of $10/per day on all federal holidays.

What Are Your Business Hours?

We actually have two sets of hours:

Mon – Sun (7 days/week): 7:00am – 9:30pm

Office Hours:

Mon – Fri: 8:00am – 8:00pm

I'm Worried With Someone Coming In My House, Are You Insured?

Yes, EaseMyMind is insured through The Hartford and all EaseMyMind Staff is also background checked.

Do You Do Over Overnight Care?

No, we do not offer overnight care were a Pet Sitter stays at your home for the night.
Our experience of many years shows that pets do great with our night visits were we tug them in and coming back early the next morning just to look into yawning pups.

TIP: We suggest to leave a shirt with your scent so they feel like Mom or Dad are snuggling with them.

Since EaseMyMind staff are employees, they must be compensated for their time being on the job site and we wouldn’t be able to offer this service for a rate most would be willing to spend.
