A good while back I started seeing puzzles for dogs hitting the stores which made perfect sense to me to keep the pooches engaged and break the every day boredom. I was thinking “what dogs can do, of course, cats can, too!” and bought my feline kids a couple of those dog puzzles.
They figured it out quick but I didn’t want to buy more and more as they don’t necessarily come cheap.
So! DIY it is!

Treat Puzzle on a Dime

Supply List:

  • Storage Container
  • Exactor Knife and Scissors
  • Lighter or Sand Paper to smooth edges of cut outs
  • Cat Toys
  • Treats or Kibble (can even add some Catnip!)

Cats are very intelligent but need constant stimulation to prevent boredom and keep them happy. DIY project on a dime and re-purposing existing toys. Hours of fun for your cats!
Tip: Use kibble instead of treats if your cat is overweight. Ms Kitty will have to “work” for her meal 😉

Since the little feline people need places to sleep and hang if you don’t want them to take over yours- here are a couple of super stylish FURRRRniture, guaranteed cat approved!
